Chicago River Canoe & Kayak
The Great Outdoors, Right Next Door
The Chicago River is a secret gem - a green and winding playground for wildlife,
lined by parkland - right in the heart of the city.
2009 Season starts in May
You can rent a boat and make your own trip at any of our launches.
- All rental trips are round-trips.
- We send beginners north from the
Chicago and Skokie launches,
so that the current will help bring you back.
You're welcome to reserve by e-mail a day in advance, or by phone (at left).
- Reservations are not required, but may be helpful for groups or for people coming
at peak hours.
- Reservations should include the launch, boats desired, time and day you're coming, roughly how long you'll be on the water,
and a phone number.
