All rental trips are round-trips. We send beginners north from the Chicago and Skokie launches, so that the current will help bring you back. You're welcome to reserve by e-mail a day in advance, or by phone (at left). Reservations are not required, but may be helpful for groups or for people coming at peak hours. Reservations should include the launch, boats desired, time and day you're coming, roughly how long you'll be on the water, and a phone number. Chicago Launch (Map): 3400 N. Rockwell October Saturday, Sunday 9:00-6:00 June through Labor Day Saturday, Sunday & Holidays 9:00-7:00 Monday - Friday 1:00-6:30 Labor Day to Sept 27th Saturday, Sunday 9:00-6:00 Friday 1:00-6:00 .
